Because of their naturally limited supply, all show quality and specialty chinchillas (minis, dwarfs, angoras, etc... ) are sold on our business to consumer auction at www.chinchillas.com/index.cfm

For domestic clients, we will board your chinchillas for 30 days for free, starting on the date of purchase, or the date on which the auction closes. Chinchillas must be picked up or shipped within this 30 days. We will guarantee the life of your chinchillas while they are in our possession during this 30 day period at no additional charge. If your chinchilla dies, maloccludes, or fur chews during this time, you will be issued a credit toward another chinchilla equal to the amount you paid for the original chinchilla. For chinchillas that cannot be shipped immediately because of the summer heat embargo, board is $10 per month per chinchilla after the first 30 days. Flight insurance is offered by many domestic and international carriers. Please inquire prior to shipping if you are interested in flight insurance.

After that, board is $10 per month per chinchilla. We must export your order within 90 days from the date your first chinchilla was purchased. We will guarantee the life of your chinchillas while they are in our possession during this 90 day period at no additional charge. Prospective clients are welcome to have pre-purchase exams done on any chinchilla they are interested in buying directly or through the auction at their own expense. We can provide a reference to the herd vet, or prospective buyers may select another veterinarian of their choice.

A $25 deposit is required to hold not for show chinchillas. Payment in full is due upon delivery. Auction chinchillas must be paid for in full within 5 days of the close of the auction unless other arrangements are made with Chinchillas.com prior to bidding. We e-mail payment requests via PayPal for auction chinchillas by the Friday following the close of the auctions. Clients are not obligated to pay through PayPal. If you prefer another payment method, contact us for alternate payment information once you receive your payment request.
